Hi, I'm Michi. Thank you for taking an interest in my work.
I am a product designer based in Tokyo with 7+ years of industry experience.
I began my career as a UI/UX designer by working on several (failed & successful) startups. Since then, I've worn various hats, from all things design to software engineering, to build delightful experiences and create meaningful solutions.
As long as I could remember, I have always been fascinated by innovative technologies because they have provided me with a means to address social biases and find alternative values and possibilities. This aspect has been the driving force in my design work. I chose design in tech because I saw its potential to help others find and expand their potential, just as it has done for me.
My goal is to continue pushing boundaries and inspiring alternative possibilities through design and technology, so that one day our society will be more inclusive and equitable for all individuals, regardless of background, ability, or identity.
